Since 1997 I have been an educator at independent schools in Dallas, Los Angeles, Pittsburgh, Orange County (California) and Calabasas, California.

I am currently the Avatar Architect and a co-Founder at Qualia: The School for Deeper Learning in Calabasas, California. Additionally, I am the Director of the Areté Institute, a globally-facing think tank for dramatic educational innovation and change. In my work, I collaborate with a creative community of students and faculty committed to educational innovation at the deepest level. I work with our students and faculty to build an entrepreneurial, intentional, democratic learning community driven by student and faculty passion.
